American Idol...

Tonight I was again impressed with Blake Lewis. He did another new arrangement of an old song that was fantastic. I like the beat boxing that he included into the song. After that, for the guys, I still like Chris Sligh, but he needs to bring it a little more next week. On the girls side, I think Melinda is the best singer, followed by Jordin. The rest of the girls have a long way to go to catch these two girls.

However, the funniest moment of the show was when Sanjaya was singing. Personally, I didn’t think the song fit Sanjaya and I thought his vocals were off, but I’m still rooting for him to make it another week, because when he comes on the stage he makes me laugh – especially tonight. Because when Sanjaya took the stage tonight, the camera focused on a girl, probably 10-12 years old who couldn’t stop crying. She is so in love with Sanjaya. It was comical to watch as they showed her over and over and over again, and then to top it off they made Sanjaya go over and give her a hug. Funny stuff. But then it got even funnier when Melinda was singing and they showed the girl again, and yes, she was still crying!
