Worst Day of the Year... Or Maybe the Best...
Maybe that's an overstatement, but this Saturday Night/Sunday Morning is one of my least favorite days of the year. Why? Because I lose an hour of sleep. By Springing forward, an hour of our lives is gone just like that. But not all is bad when it comes to daylight savings time. With it comes more daylight at the end of the day. With more daylight comes warmer temperatures. With warmer temperatures comes spring. With spring comes rain. With rain comes flowers. With flowers come tulips. With tulips comes tulip time. With tulip time comes summer. With summer comes a happier Dave.
So, with all that said, I don't like losing an hour of sleep, but I sure do like summer which is right around the corner. Goodbye snow. Hello sun.

sun, spring and summer also means softball games, track meets, going to the beach, klompen dancing, elephant ears, fireworks, running outdoors, brats, hiking and kayaking!
woo hoo. this is the start of the best season in youth ministry and in life. in my humble opinion.
so pray for sun and warmth!
