Back at it...

I realize I have not blogged since being back from Biloxi, Mississippi. The main reason being that I was exhausted after the trip. During the week in Biloxi I was up at 4:30am and went to bed around midnight, so last week was spent catching up on sleep and recovering after a phenomenal week in Biloxi.

So, since I haven’t blogged in a while here are some random thoughts about the last few weeks…
• I love working with teenagers. I know teenagers can sometimes get a bad wrap from society, but the teens I get to spend time with are outstanding. They really want to make a difference in the world, and are constantly trying to figure out what it looks like to have a relationship with Jesus in 2007.
• On the American Idol front… my favorite is still in the competition, Blake Lewis. I think he is by far the best overall performer left on the show. I told someone the other day that if he puts out a CD in the next year I’m definitely buying it.
• My daughter starts soccer tomorrow. I can’t believe she is old enough to play organized sports. Last week we purchased cleats and shin guards for her, so she is ready for practice.
• Last week I had to cancel youth group because of snow. Snow in April – crazy.
• The Office is a funny show, and I look forward to watching it every Thursday, especially now that we cut our cable back, and I can no longer watch ESPN.

That’s enough right now. Look for more random thoughts and updates coming soon – now that I’m back.
