Book Number 6

I just finished my 6th book of 2007 - The Man Comes Around - The Spirituality of Johnny Cash. This book was really interesting. Before reading this book I didn't know much about Johnny Cash, but after finishing the book I found Johnny Cash to be a deeply spiritual man who really understood the grace of Jesus. Even though he struggled with drugs, alcohol and a host of other things, I believe it was his relationship with Jesus that really defined him. After all, Johnny had a real understanding of his sins, but a greater understanding of his need for forgiveness that only Jesus can offer.

After finishing the book, now I want to go purchase some of Johnny Cash's music from itunes. Maybe I'll do that right now. Anyone have any suggestions?

By the way, I know I'm a little off pace from my goal of 24 books in 2007, but hopefully I'll catch up this summer. In addition to some books I'm reading for my summer class, my next book is going to be "Following Jesus" by Dave Roberts. No, I didn't write this book, but it is rather interesting to be reading a book with your name on it.
