Book 9... Interesting Read

On Monday I received my book order from Amazon. I had ordered "Positively False: The Real Story of How I won the Tour de France" by Floyd Landis. By Wednesday morning I was done with the book. Personally, I thought it was a fascinating read. After reading the book I've had a change of heart regarding Floyd and him cheating in the Tour.

Last year, after his B sample came back positive, I posted this entry. In that entry I said, "But now my excitement has turned to disappointment. Why? Because I do feel Floyd has cheated. And today, the results of the B sample confirmed that. I know Floyd is trying to explain the results of the tests, but so far his explanations have been pretty weak. Now I'm to the point where I want him to tell the truth. And I think the truth is he took something."

After reading Floyd's book I don't think he cheated. Why would he spend all his money on proving he is innocent if he cheated? Just admit it and save a ton of money. Also, his medical experts do a nice job of showing numerous flaws in how the tests were carried out. Anyway, the book is an interesting read.
