Weekend Project...

Well, the sandbox will have to wait until next week or the week after because this weekend was all about decorating the exterior of the kids playhouse. Now, before I go on about the exterior of the house if you haven't read the story of how we got the house click here. It's a pretty cool story.

So, this weekend was all about the exterior of the kid's house. Yesterday we went to Lowe's to pick out flowers and plants. Then it was back home to plant the flowers in the right spot. Elliana told me exactly where to put them. After that, the bark went down. And if that wasn't enough we even planted seeds in the flower boxes attached to the house. Well, I thought it was done, but Ceci came up with a great idea. Instead of having regular edgine around the bark, let's put in a decorative pink fence. So, that's what we did. All in all, it turned out great. Now, next week I'll put in the sandbox and it will be complete. Atleast complete for another week, because Ceci is now talking about wanting me to build a swingset in the backyard. One fun project after another. Really, it is fun. A lot of hard work, but a lot of fun.
