Playing in the dirt...
On June 1 I wrote this
Here are some pictures detailing the hard work that goes into building a playhouse…
The early stages of the sandbox. It's getting there! Our only question at this time was, "Will the sandbox be big enough?"
Elliana was a HUGE help. She was all decked out in her Home Depot garb, and she organized all the bolts and gave them to me when I needed them. After telling here what I needed a couple times, she caught on and always had one bolt, two washers, and a nut waiting for me.
Once in a while Elliana got a little distracted by some doughnuts. But I can't complain because she shared some with me.
All the girls were a big help. They loved getting the supplies I needed whenever I asked.
The sandbox is finally finished and it looks like the project was a success! I was happy with how it turned out, and was suprised that the project went really smooth. That's a first. All it needs now is a little sand.
The real measure of success. Kids playing in the sandbox and having a great time!

Looks great! Remember how to do it so you can come build us one some day! Consider it good "training" at high altitude.
Are you trying to tell us something Marni?
Sweet Dave! Did you get to wear a tool belt, because that is studly?!
Yeah, I'm trying to tell you that I have a secret passion for playing in sandboxes.
