What if...
followers of Jesus...
did not repay evil with evil?
were careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody?
lived at peace with everyone?
did not take revenge, but left room for God's wrath?
did not overcome evil with evil, but overcame evil with good?
What if this happened? This world would be a different place.
This Sunday I get to preach on this passage out of Romans 12. Should be fun. If you have any thoughts on the above passage, leave me a comment. I would love to hear people's perspective. In fact, last time people left comments, they were included in my message. Pretty cool.

I just wish that this was your message for the first weekend of October, it looks like a good one. Ryan checked your schedule to make sure that we'd catch you when we were home. We were both excited to see that you are going to be preaching when we're there.
I think you got it.
That's the idea right? Follow Jesus - change the world? I mean I don't think Jesus would have left any room to question that...if you follow Him you and consequently the world around you will never be the same.
And the cool part is we're just asked to follow. We aren't perfect - we can't be - sin exists, we'll stub our toes on the rocks, we'll trip over things, and we'll fall down, BUT Jesus will always turn around to help us get back up.
All we have to do is keep following and never give up.
