Volunteer Appreciation

Last night was a great night. The numerous people who volunteer in so many ways at lvc were invited to come, relax, and laugh. River City Improv came and provided some great entertainment - there were some moments when they were really funny.

It was so great to laugh -- I believe laughter can be an incredible ministry. There are times in our lives when we need to really let loose and laugh. I can remember times when I have been drained, and then I laugh, and it's amazing how that can fill you up. And last night was one of those nights when laughter really touched people. I looked around the room and people were crying because they were laughing so hard. It was a ton of fun.
