Decision...

I'm getting a new cell phone on Monday, and I don't know which one to get. Here are my two choices.

Regular cell phone. If I go this option, I save on my monthly plan and I will get this phone. Good phone, nothing special, no calendar, contact list, etc. This will be a big change from the phone I currently have.
Or I will go with this option, which has a calendar, contact list, e-mail, text messaging, etc. More money every month, but then I will have my calendar with me at all time. I have a pretty busy calendar, and if I don't have it written down then I forget it. This phone would make sure I'm where I need to be at the right time. But is it worth a little more money every month?

Anybody want to share some wisdom with me? Which cell phone should I get?

Save money....use a paper planner.

tough one... go with your gut. Not with what you want. Inside most of the time you know what you need (not want). You know which one will be better in the long run. Is the extra money worth it? Honestly, it might be for you... You also know how much you will use the features. Are you going to carry a calendar with you? Maybe you will... So its up to you.

A little late for this thought but here goes anyway. I too have a busy schedule. I have a calendar on the fridge for the family stuff....I have a calendar on my phone for all the family stuff and all my stuff. If I have a little calendar book....I spend half the day looking for where I left it. My phone on the other hand....is always at my fingertips. Keeps me on track anyway. Good Luck loving the decision!

whoops, looks like i didn't weigh in early enough. facebook is saying that you already got a new phone. for whatever it's worth, i probably would've gone for the blackberry - (although i'm a gadget freak). i think being connected (if you can put the right kind of boundaries in place) and being organized (syncing your calendars between phone and computer) are important.

however, people don't call them "crackberries" for nothing. addicting?

i'm gunning for the new iPhone 3g that was just announced for $199. i just need to convince my wife...

what did you decide?
