Insanity...

They say the definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result." Well, my neighbor is insane! Let me explain.

For the past three weekends he has been blowing his leaves. Every morning around 8:00 the leaf blower fires up, and he spends the rest of the day blowing leaves. Ceci really enjoys his leaf blowing, especially when she tries to take a nap. So, where does he go with all of his leaves? That's the problem. Every week he blows them to the road. He doesn't bag them. He doesn't get rid of them. He doesn't burn them. (He tried one year, but the fire department stopped by.)

So, every weekend he's out there blowing his leaves, and then the rest of the week they blow back. I wonder how long this will last? Probably until they blow into my yard, and then I have to take care of them.
