Advent Conspiracy...

Recently, I came across a church that is taking the month of December and doing a series called "Advent Conspiracy." I was impressed when I read what this church was trying to do this advent season. They wanted to challenge their people this Christmas season to...

1. Resist the pace -- Don't get caught up in the fast pace life of Christmas.
2. Relational gift giving -- giving relational gifts instead of buying gifts that people won't really care about in a couple weeks.
3. Redistribute their wealth -- give to an organization that is improving the quality of life for others.

Well, today, I realized "Advent Conspiracy" isn't limited to one church. It's an international movement. They even have their own website. To check it out, click here.
