Great Christmas Present...

Yesterday I walked into my office and I saw a big present sitting on my desk. I looked at it and thought "how nice." I didn't give it much thought after that. This type of thing usually happens around Christmas. People leave nice little gifts on my desk for Christmas, and usually they consist of cookies, candy, or some other home made snack. All of these things I really enjoy, and I thought this present was something along those lines - except I thought this gift was a Christmas sausage, or something similar, since that was the shape of the present.

Well, I let it sit on my desk for a while. After an hour or so, I decided to open it to see what I received. When I opened the gift I was so excited, because inside was a lava lamp, not a Christmas sausage. I immediately opened it up, put it together, and then plugged it in. Then I waited for the magic to happen. I've never had a lava lamp in my life, and I was so excited to get one. After an hour or so of warming up it finally started to work. I had so much fun throughout the day watching this thing move. I was fascinated by it. So, thank-you Gary and Brenda for an awesome Christmas gift.

By the way, if any of you are thinking of what to get me for Christmas, feel free to buy me some different colored lava lamp juice. Right now the fluid I have is orange, which matches my office. I would love any other color.

Now I look forward to going to my office so I can see my awesome lava lamp in action!
