The last laugh...

This morning I read this passage, and I found it interesting.

"When Jesus entered the ruler's house and saw the flute players and teh noisy crowd, he said, "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him. After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. News of this spread through all that region." (Mt. 9:23-26)

As I read that verse I could help but think, "who got the last laugh?" I wonder what the reaction of the people were that day? They must have thought Jesus was crazy, and then out walks this girl. I wonder if Jesus was laughing as the girl walked out?
