I heard a good talk yesterday by my friend Matt. It was a great challenge to really examine how I pray. Instead of praying...
God forgive me.
God bless me.
God be with me.
God watch over and protect me.
My prayer needs to changed to...
God, thank-you I'm forgiven!
God, thank-you for blessing me, let me bless you.
God, live through me.
God protect me, but use me no matter what.
