Trusting Jesus...

Yesterday was a great day at Lakeshore Vineyard. I had a ton of fun. For me the highlight of the morning was listening to the worship team rock! They did a phenomenal job, and I heard from many people who shared those same feelings. Plus, it looked like they were having a lot of fun up there. A huge thank-you to Josh P. and Joe P for all your hard work and for being the anchor points of the team. I'm already looking forward to the next time these guys get to play.

The rest of the service went well too. We recognized the graduating class of 2007 and gave them a gift - $10 gas card and the book "Blue Like Jazz". With gas prices the way they are, the gift card will allow them to drive once to the beach and back! This group of seniors is a wonderful group of young men and women. I'm looking forward to see what God is going to do with their lives.

To wrap up the service I shared about trusting Jesus. To listen to the message click here and then click "download message" under my name. For a long time I've been thinking about this issue of trusting Jesus, so it was good to share some of the things that have been rattling around in my brain.

Overall, a great day. The rest of my day was spent going to an graduation open house, sleeping, grilling hamburgers, and relaxing in front of the tv watching "Deadliest Catch." I love that show.
