Ceci and I like to watch Newport Harbor. It’s a spin-off on the show “Laguna Hills” that aired a few years ago. (By the way, there is a spin-off series of that show called “the Hills”, which Ceci also likes to watch.) It’s a show that follows a group of high school students from Newport Harbor, a city just north of Laguna Hills. To me the show isn’t that realistic, but that’s not the point of this post.

We were watching the show last Wednesday, and as the show opened I heard a song that I liked. I mentioned it to Ceci and she shared with me the name of the singer – Hillary Duff. Then she laughed.

The next day, I went on itunes and purchased “Come Clean” by Hillary Duff. And now my ipod has a song on it by Hillary Duff. I told Ceci what I had done. Again, she laughed.
