Wise Words

Today I was in a meeting with Ray Befus from The Vineyard Church in North Grand Rapids. We had a great meeting with Ray, and during the meeting he said some very wise things about leadership, but specifically, leadership in the local church. Here are a few things he shared...

"Transparency is the sign of a healthy community. Leaders must lead the way by being transparent. Be vulnerable. Be honest. He open."

"If trust is your issue, then openness is your solution."

Those were just a few of the things he shared. For me, I have a lot of fun soaking up wisdom from older, more mature leaders.
