I Admit...

I saw this post today and I thought it was interesting. I can't believe the dude likes the smell of skunks though.

I think everyone has a weird smell that they enjoy.

For me, I admit I like the smell of a new book, specifically the glue that holds it together, and gasoline. I also like the smell of puppies.

What's the weird smell that you like?

skunks? baby spit-up? your armpits?

dairy farms, plowed fields after rain or anhydrous amonia tilled in, burning leaves and bleach

Ty - that's gross... but interesting.

Also - I forgot one thing I really like the smell of... bleach.

Diesel fumes...reminds me of great times working at the Hope College Bus garage as a mechanic.

Hmm, I'm a fan of gasoline, and diesel as well (reminds me of field trips and youth group road trips). I also like the smell of old, musty books and new shoes, as well as new electronics.

...but I really love the smell of the inside of film canisters...unfortunately, I don't get to do that very often anymore.

Also, paper money.

Cigarettes outside in the summer... reminds me of hanging out at my neighbors house as a kid. Chlorine... like when you walk into a hotel and you can smell the pool.
Clean sheets.
New Cars.

dave, your blog was pulled up when i came down this morning and i had to comment - i am totally one of those people who LOVE the smell of skunks, especially skunk mixed with rain - kind of a fresh smell in an odd sort of way. Reminds me of spring/summer nights in indiana :) lots of skunks around us growing up.

Catie - that is weird, but really funny. I totally laughed out loud when I read your comment. Too funny!
