Fantastic Team...

Last night during the party, I wanted to thank my fantastic team of youth leaders. So, to thank them I went to Steve and Barry's and picked out a t-shirt for each person on my team. No two leaders received the same shirt. I had a great time shopping with Breanna and Trevor, who helped pick out the shirts. We laughed a lot while we were shopping, and I think we did a great job picking out shirts that really said something about the leaders. It's been fun getting to know this team. They really love Jesus and the love to share that love with teenagers. Here are a couple of the shirts that I purchased for the leaders...

- Beans, the musical fruit (Purchased for Josh.)
- Chick dig my ride (Purchased for Kyle)

Throughout the years I have realized how important it is to appreciate the people who volunteer in the youth ministry. They give so much of their time and energy and they need to be appreciated. If you don't show your appreciation for your team you will end up losing team members that you might not have lost. So, if you have it done it recently, show your team you appreciate them. It will be money worth spent. Plus, they are worth it.
