Sponge...

Have you ever had one of those meetings, one of those moments, when you were talking with a person and you found yourself hanging on every word? A meeting where you found yourself soaking up every word the other person shared, like a sponge? Well, this Thursday I had a wonderful meeting with a friend, and during that meeting I found myself eating up everything he was saying.

We talked about many things like...
- The importance of taking time to be alone to think and pray what God is doing in your life.
- The importance of having ministry experiences with your spouse.
- What is God showing us in the Bible.
- What to look for when hiring someone to be on your team.
- What should the church look like?
- Taking time to enjoy life.
- Where is God leading us during this time in our lives.

Like I said, it was a wonderful time. I consider this individual to be one of my mentors. And to be honest, it is great to get some godly advice from a mature man, who has been where I am right now.
