I need to relax...

It's been a few weeks since I built the sandbox, and the good news is the kids are still playing in it. It looks like that thing was worth my time and energy after all. They love making sand pies, digging holes, and throwing sand on each other. Oh the life of a kid. Nothing but fun.

But watching them play in the sand has taught me something about myself. I NEED TO RELAX. I really mean that. I need to chill. Here's the deal. When they are playing in the sand box I get all freaked out if they get sand on my grass. How lame is that? Like sand is going to harm my grass. And if it did, who cares? As long as the kids are having fun in the sand box, that is all that matters!

So, I'm going to challenge myself to relax more. If things are a little out of order, it's not the end of the world. If there's sand in the grass, oh well. If papers in my office are a little messed up -- no big deal. (O.K. I took this a little too far. No messing up the papers in my office!)
